Yesterday, April 8 these three ladies and Mr. Schrowe completed a very big day in the Cooke City backcountry as part of the RLHS Outdoor Club. Go Rams!

Red Lodge Lady Rams Tennis had a great start to their season in Belgrade this weekend. The girls had an amazing opportunity to play teams from Belgrade, Darby, and Granite. The girls played through some tough weather with wind, snow and temperatures of 32 degrees. They powered through however and finished not only with multiple personal wins, but with an overall win for the team!! The Rams are looking forward to an amazing season and love the support that the school, parents, and community have already shown! Thank you especially to the efforts of the Red Lodge School Maintenance Crew and amazing Pickleball Community members whose tireless efforts gave our team the opportunity to be on our own courts for multiple weeks already this season!! Great day in Lockwood yesterday to kick off our track and field season. Over 35+ Personal Records, multiple State Qualifying performances, and one school record broke in boy's 4x100 relay. Go Rams!

On Friday, March 22, the RLHS band performed two prepared pieces in front of two adjudicators as part of our annual participation in the district Large Group Festival. After those prepared pieces, they participated in the sight-reading portion that requires them to play a piece they have never seen before with only 6 minutes to look at it beforehand. The judges used a rubric to score several categories, including tone quality, rhythmic and note accuracy, balance and blend, and professionalism. Both of the adjudicators gave RLHS scores that fell under a "II" rating, or "Excellent." "II. Excellent - Shows above average literature selection, preparation, execution or interpretation for age and training of performer(s); musically challenging with few technical errors and demonstrated awareness of advanced musical concepts and nuance." Great job to Mr. Schneider and the RLHS band! Go Rams!
