Every year Mrs. Lauritzen's high school art classes enter the Reach Higher Montana sticker contest for a chance for the students to win scholarships.

They have narrowed it down to the top 20 sticker designs and this year Red Lodge junior is Riley B is finalist.

Just a reminder.... 🚨 Training Exercise at Red Lodge High School 🚨 The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Red Lodge Police Department and Red Lodge Fire & Rescue, will be hosting an “It’s Your Choice: Teens Against Distracted Driving” presentation and mock crash scenario at Red Lodge High School. Date: April 8 Time: Approximately 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM During this time, there will be a visible presence of law enforcement, fire, EMS, and emergency vehicles on and around the school grounds. ⚠️ Please do not be alarmed. This is a planned training and educational event focused on raising awareness about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving among teens. We appreciate the community’s understanding and support as we work together to keep our youth safe. — Carbon County Sheriff’s Office

On Wednesday April 8th, Red Lodge High School in conjunction with local Emergency Responders will host a distracted driving "It's your choice" assembly complete with a simulated accident in the RLHS parking lot.

High School Baseball at Laurel today has been postponed with make up date TBD.

Big News from State FCCLA... Congratulations to our National Qualifiers!   Tacelyn C and Piper O Sports Nutrition 2nd Place Maggie R Fashion Design Level 2 2nd Place Leo H Fashion Design Level 3 1st Great job Mrs Quenzer and all of the Red Lodge FCCLA members on a great state conference!

First Day for Red Lodge FCCLA at the State Conference included Hannah L winning an Ultimate Leader Award and the Red Lodge FCCLA Organization recognized as Silver. Competitions are today!

Mrs. Stiegemeier's 1st grade class created monster drawings based on the book Love Monster.

Community members then took their drawings and created actual monster stuffies based on their drawing using all the details from each picture.

Such a great school to community project with Jenny Zimmerman from Carbon County Arts Guild and Sarah Milligan from Red Lodge Public Library.
